HINDLEY OFFICE DIRECTIONS
From the North:
Take the M6 to junction 30, the M61 turn-off signposted to Bolton, Manchester and Leeds.
Follow the M61 for about 10 miles to junction 6, signposted Bolton North and Horwich.
At the roundabout, take the third turn, signposted Wigan and Westhoughton and follow the road to a second roundabout.
Take the first road off the second roundabout onto the A6 towards Wigan and Westhoughton.
After 400m, there is a set of traffic lights. Turn right at these onto the B5239 towards Wigan.
Follow this road for about 2 miles past the Gerrard Arms pub on the left. About 600m after the pub, there is a mini-roundabout, a church and Hall Lane to the left which is signposted towards Hindley.
Follow Hall Lane for another 2 miles past the duck pond on the right and Hindley Station on the left towards Hindley. Hall Lane now becomes Ladies Lane and the office sign is clearly visible on the right as you approach the junction with the main street.
From the South:
Take the M6 to junction 24, the A580 junction signposted to Liverpool, Manchester and St Helens. Be in the right hand lane on the slip road and take the first right turn onto the A580 East Lancs Rd towards Manchester.
Follow the A580 for 1½ miles. At the first roundabout turn left onto the A573 signposted to Golborne.
Follow the A573 through Golborne towards Wigan keeping on this road for about 4 miles going through two sets of traffic lights until you get to another roundabout. Here, take the third road off, the A58 towards Bolton. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you get to a crossroads with the Bird I'T' Hand pub in Hindley town centre. Go straight on at the crossroads onto Market Street. At the top of Market Street, is a mini-roundabout. Bear left here and go up Ladies Lane for about 100 yards. The office can be seen on the left hand side of the road.
From the East:
Take the M62 towards Manchester and then the M60 Manchester Outer Ring Road towards Preston. Follow signs for M61 Preston and take the M61 to junction 5, Wigan.
At the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road, take the first exit onto the A58 to a second roundabout where the A6 crosses. Here, take the third exit, the A58 to Westhoughton and Wigan and follow this for about 3 miles into Westhoughton.
In Westhoughton, on Cricketers' Way, stay on the A58 as it turns left towards Wigan. After 2½ miles, there is a mini-roundabout. Turn right here onto Ladies Lane and follow directions above.
